Multidisciplinary artist and curator, master in visual arts from Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG), graduated in visual arts from the Escola Guignard. In his objects, actions and installations, he develops the relationships between game, art and Brazilian peripheral culture. By experimenting with game rules such as the amateur soccer, snooker and game of animal ones, he attempts to overcome the dualism between norm and freedom, institution and creation, individual and society. He was a resident of Bolsa Pampulha (2022) and recipient of the Décio Noviello Visual Arts award (2020). His works have been presented at the Palácio das Artes, Belo Horizonte (2020–2021, 2014); Museu Nacional de Brasília (2018); International Photography Festival, Ipatinga and Belo Horizonte (2018, 2017); and Sesc Palladium, Belo Horizonte (2014). He lives in Belo Horizonte.

Installation
Based on the book A Hundred Thousand Billion Poems (1961), by Raymond Queneau—a publication printed in strips, from which the reading, by the movement of the pages, implies the creation of combinations of verses and sonnets in an almost infinite way—the artist creates an endless sonic labyrinth, with no entry or exit. After inviting the rapper Matéria Prima to make a series of rhymes, the artist tasked the beatmaker Barulhista with creating the beats. By using software developed by Antônio Mozelli, artificial intelligence was responsible for almost infinitely remixing the sequence of words and sounds that, projected on the external area of Sesc 24 de Maio, invite passers-by to listen and dance. As the body moves, the LED panels show the programming codes used in the work. Rap’s conceptual plots and narratives are thus referred to the wonders and dangers of artificial intelligence.
