PUZZLE LIBRARY

Bearing a title created by musician Marcelo Yuka, it brings together books from Waly Salomão's personal collection, selected by Omar Salomão and Anna Dantes. Displayed in a showcase, they reveal his graphics, notes and unpublished poems, while reproductions of the underlined texts make up an intervention in the exhibition space. Another tribute to Salomão, the library presents other possible editings of his memory.

IDEAL LIBRARY

Available for public consultation, it comprises a living collection of Videobrasil’s publications suggested by the Biennial's curatorial team. It will be expanded throughout the exhibition with contributions from artists, jury members, guests of the Public Programs and other participants. It is inspired by the book Une bibliothèque idéale, by Koyo Kouoh and Nana Ofariatta Ayim (Raw Material Company, 2012), which outlines a cartography of the bibliographic influences of contemporary art from the Global South based on recommendations from curators, artists and writers.
