THE SESC ART PRIZES
The two prizes, awarded exclusively to Brazilian artists, disburse up to R$50,000 apiece on the acquisition of works for the Sesc Brazilian Art Collection.

WEXNER CENTER FOR THE ARTS FILM/VIDEO RESIDENCY PRIZE (Columbus, Ohio, United States)
Offers a residency, USD10,000 in funding and access to postproduction facilities and equipment for the completion of an audiovisual work. Wexner is the University of Ohio’s multidisciplinary laboratory for the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. Its artistic residencies cover a range of disciplines, underscoring a commitment to experimentation and creative expression and to fostering exchange among artists, the university community, and the general public.

CENTRO CULTURAL DO CARIRI RESIDENCY PRIZE (Crato, Ceará, Brazil)
A two-month residency at Centro Cultural do Cariri Sérvulo Esmeraldo will be awarded to a Latin-American artist. Inaugurated in 2022, the institution is a forum for discussion, promotion, and craft in the areas of the arts, science, and culture, allied with cultural tradition and contemporary practices. Its residency program cultivates interchange between artistic outputs, recognizing Cariri as a creative force in dialogue with other territorial identities and bodies of knowledge.

INSTITUTO SACATAR RESIDENCY PRIZE (Itaparica, Bahia, Brazil)
A two-month residency at Instituto Sacatar. Port of arrival for over a third of all enslaved Africans shipped to Brazil, Bahia is a Diaspora landmark in the Americas. The institute encourages its resident artists to engage with and draw inspiration from this melting pot of Indigenous, African, and European histories, with their rich and plural cross-pollination.

THE O.F.F. PRIZE
The American Ostrovsky Family Fund, which fosters independent artistic initiatives in numerous countries, including the United States, Israel, and Brazil, awards a R$35,000 cash prize to a young artist.
